Common some things we all take for granted
The air that we breathe, man God who He planted
Upon this great sphere we all call our home
The greatness of One who did this alone
The water that quenches the thirst we all feel
The Apple, Banana and orange you peel
The wind that becomes the breeze we all need
To lift up our spirits, on these things we feed
The Bee who spreads pollen, pollinating the flowers
Producing the vegetable and the fruit by GODS power
The nectar of life is He who made this
All seeing, all knowing, if gone we would miss
The meat and potatoes, mothers milk and much more
The music created is He and Life's score
Yet forgetful we fall sometimes in just saying
Thank you for this day dear Father in praying
We write as a couple, and at times I fall short
But his mighty wisdom in my heart He holds court
Reminding this writer that we have just started
To tell all He lives and never departed
So when you awake each morning and rise
Be mindful of Him who rules from the Skies
The reason you did so was just a small way
GOD made all this happen, not just another day
