PRAA SANDS

~~~PRAA SANDS~~~
The rough sea comes crashing in
In fact it makes quite a din,
Followed by the seagulls cry
Right above us way up high.
It`s so hot lying in the sun
And the water looks like it`s fun,
The water feels cool on my skin
Deeper and deeper I go in.
The waves approach with a white crest
Faster they come they know no rest,
Can`t swim today it`s far too rough
Paddling will have to be enough.
The surfers love this rough sea
Riding their boards they feel free,
Once they`ve safely reached the shore
They paddle back out for more.
The tide is coming in so fast
`Lifeguard, is it high tide?` I asked,
`Very high today` he did say
This swallows the sand up today.
The sea rushes closer to us
People move back without much fuss,
Relentless the tide still comes in
Less beach each time, the tide will win.
We pack our things and leave the beach
Seagulls fly in with such a screech,
We have certainly caught the sun
Be back tomorrow for more fun.
