Sea Cliffed Beach #306

Sea Cliffed Beach

Multi-colored sand disguises
Umbrellas of different sizes
Hide from view the chilled surprises
Awaiting every child
On sea cliffed beach where cars are parking
Labradors and collies barking
For within there's something sparking
And they're growing wild
To run upon the beach and frolic
With both kids and workaholics
In the waves that splash chaotic
And somewhat makes complete
My thoughts about how spry and willing
Oceans are to bring such thrilling
To the ones who've begged for chilling
From this summer's heat
And rest I've wished for but not getting
Still I'm not mad nor am fretting
For I'm dreaming and forgetting
Doldrums out of reach
Where the kayak now is surging
Where the land and sea's converging
Where awakened by life's urgings
Contemplated each
I'm found on sea cliffed beach.
