Today the body cries out in pain
Our soul stumbles, it too is lame
Seems as though the day will yield
The negative sometimes one feels
Problems all have, and in this state
The mind battered, thinks life it hates
Yet in these thoughts stands he that knows
A child of His, today has stole
There is no thief he cannot see
Who robbed your joy apparently
You lost your way, stand fast, call out
From His Kingdom, he hears your shouts
You cry and think he does not hear
Your fate unknown, your biggest fears
Are all worked out, just wait on Him
To calm these storms that wage our sins
I've not seen him who works it out
But hold to one thats talked about
Who walked a path that no one will
To death his own, scripture fulfilled
Promise of peace you've never known
Treasure are you, He sees has grown
Into the branch that bears much fruit
Satan has lost and can't uproot
Fallen you have but just for now
Hold unto me, today, somehow
We'll see this through, both you and I
My hands will wipe these tears you cry
Fallen, maybe, but I too fell
But rose to save mankind from Hell
