INDEPENDENCE DAY ELF

Little elf
On a little rock
He lives under a bush
In my yard on my block

My Boxer dogs go running
Sniffing around the bush
My little elf man goes gunning
Hit's them with little bullets in the tush

Little elf sings for me
In the middle of the night
Sets these candy cane smiles free
In a way that's elves delight

Shoots off fireworks
From a teeny tiny bottle
Knows it's Independence Day
Where he can ride a rocket to the moon full throttle!

Happy Independence Day American Guy Austin, who challenged me
to write an "elf" poem.
