My eyes have seen man made clearly
In my own image I love dearly
Destroy themselves with drugs no care
For me the God his sins I bared
My eyes have seen what my heart aches
Woman selling themselves, mistakes
As if they chose not me but him
Evil controls there vice and whims
My eyes have seen taken apart
Souls in anguish that failed to start
To know of I who made all things
Mercy bestowed, snubbed offering
My eyes shed tears and see all fears
Of life's choices driven that steer
Out of control swerving right past
Crashing their fate, too young, too fast
My eyes have seen what they could be
Choosing the right from wrong, that's me
I'd see them through their journeys end
Why can't all see, what I can mend
My eyes have seen what they'll acquire
A date with fate in raging fires
Where soon these eyes will also tire
Closing they'll rest, when man expires
