From the Heart Through the Pen

Never Ending Rivers

The tears fall
And I could swear
I hear your laughter
Your voice
And I feel
The joy in my heart
I look up for that smile
For those eyes
I look around
It's just me
Just these memories
And all I can manage is a sigh
We never said goodbye
I close my eyes once again
Yearning for them not to open
The strength it takes
Just to try and forget
No matter what
I hear these songs
Out of the blue
And just like True Beauty
Everywhere I go
All is a reminder of you

This heart of mine
Has somehow survived
With you gone
Yet it won't let me move on
This house being so empty
Nothing but time
Makes me think of you plenty
I imagine your face
And it still gives me shivers
My love for you still pouring out
Forming never ending rivers
