I spent the weekend painting pots
Out back the ceramic garden spots~
Then I painted floral on a holland blind
With flowers lovely growing upon a vine~
I fabric painted a carpet too
With patterns beautiful,twas over due~
And picture frames once old now new~
Surprising what a drop of paint will do~
Touched up a stair rail that was worn
Painted a door step now reborn~
Front gate needed doing,fence as well
Gentle colors where love does dwell~
Always makes a home a home sweet home
Repainting little things for love alone~
Adds endless brightness to ones day
Makes hearts feel happier all along the way~
Has one feel they've not wasted time
Bringing cheerfulness and all looks divine~
