Fighting Our Own Desires
If you are guided by the Spirit,
Think about what you will inherit;
No longer tempted by desire,
That is igniting your lust afire.
A foe of the Spirit is the lust,
That causes to loose spiritual trust;
Because it entices you to sway,
And eventually makes you stray.
As long as your faith is very strong,
The Holy Spirit helps you prolong;
Because He will remain in control,
Of both in your heart and in your soul.
Emotions play an important part,
Of desires eating in the heart;
Jealousy greed and anger too,
In making immoral ways to do.
His Spirit makes us kind and content,
Doing good deeds in every intent;
Not conceited or try to argue,
But obey the Word and telling true.
