Bubbling brook
“The bubbling brook would lose its song if you removed the rocks”
I found these words
Quietly profound
I thought to myself
Mmmm! A wonderful sound
Tumbling eternally
Over pebbles and rocks
Splashing and bubbling
In and out of all the nooks
Babbling incessantly
Throughout the day
Carrying on in its merry way
Quiescently!
Amidst the boulders water broils
Coursing up the river bank
For eternity it toils
Un-noticed the greenshank!
Sitting quiet
Listening to the disquiet
Of the waters which churn
And his little heart burns!
