A wise man told me once-if a door opens, run through it!
Some of you have written poems for/about me and I cannot express how much that means to me.Poetry poem has been like my home-a place where I have made many amazing friends who made me feel less alone; encouraged and respected me.No matter where I go, there is a piece of each of you in my heart and soul.
I am leaving on a journey, one I promised myself I would take if I could get through the complications the world has thrown.I never thought I'd publish a book-or see the stones when I made my list of 'things to do before I die'when I was a kid, but I did-and the writing thing would of never been possible without you guys.
I have one thing left on that list'go to california',and perhaps that door will open somewhere along in my travels.I have saved every cent I had comming in, and am taking some paper, books and pens and not a lot else on this journey. If I am not heard from in awhile-it's because I've found my 'door', but you'll definately hear from me again in the near future,
and I plan to continue writing.
many of you guys are the ones who taught me to believe in myself and encouraged me all along my writing and life struggles.
I send a piece of my heart to each of you in the words I am writing right now.You are all in there...you guys have helped me to open up and share my soul...and if the world shall end tommorow...please be there with me...every single poet who has helped restore the life in me.
Thank you from every ounce of love and respect in my spirit.
I have intentions of meeting up with some of you along the way-that has been a dream of mine since day one.
Always chase your dreams and let nobody stand in your way.
I will not say Good-bye because it is never Good-bye...just c-ya later, and my words will stay right here on this site where they belong, to share with all.I'll be writing.
God bless each and every one of you.
