Great art Thou, Lord God,
great Thy name forever,
who created heaven and earth,
the world and all the wonders therein,
Whose providence rules over all,
predestinating the end from the beginning.
Who can know all Thy ways?
Who can discern Thy purposes?
Thou who drove Adam and Eve from the garden,
meting out retribution for their sin,
till the seed of the woman
crush the head of the serpent
and as in Adam all die,
so in Christ all shall come to life!
God who knows all things
and is Sovereign over all!
Thou who art eternal
in truth and purpose
from before time and space
to the new heaven and the new earth!
Praise to Thee for Thy goodness
and Thine unfailing faithfulness!
Praise to Thee for Thy justice
so sure and certain!
Praise to Thee for Thy love
So rich and free!
Praise for Thy great salvation!
Praise forevermore!
