He no longer desires to fly,
Broken Wings is reason why,
His life is now placed on hold,
His love has left him to die.

His love carried him far and wide,
Flying over mountains high.
Majestic scenes from high above,
Are no longer seen in his eye.

The love he shared, now is gone,
He sits alone, wondering why,
His heart no longer feels happiness,
It's emptiness just makes him cry.

True love makes a happy heart sing,
Soaring heights with spreading wings,
Fate plays an undetermined eternal plan,
Only to be burdened by broken wings.
