Poems of Lighthouse Bob
Bartholomew #327
http://www.catholic-forum.com/saints/saintb11.jpg Bartholomew And who were you Bartholomew That you were mentioned with the twelve of His Disciples or His chosen few Who knew and knew Him well as who He is And was and just because the honor lured You to His gaze Still wanting more to know His ways His wonderment, His pure Amaze. How could He know? How did He see Beyond the outer shell of earthly things An honest man beneath a tree Shout, “Thou Son of God! Thou Israel's King!” And not you scold but in you hold a gift For further days Of fervor felt and fervor raised And fervor meant to lift in Praise. God bless, Lighthouse Bob |
