I Grieve For You
I Grieve For You
I grieve for you,
cold and stiff
upon the love
you could have given
and every time I reached
my hand was always slapped away
affection all too brief
you never could show it
love was just a word
you was taught to just say.....
I grieve for you
even though you are alive......
I grieve for you
the sad outlines
of a bitter life
driving away everyone
just to prove you're right
so the cost was us
tragic you can't see that
but it's anyone's fault but yours
so happy to not live
under your standards
but I still grieve for you
still can't help but notice
your personality
is just like a gun loading
the bullet, the bullet
will kill you eventually....
I grieve for you,
yet can't help my anger
separating the family
with a impossible choice
all these years
finally I found my voice
so respect I have none
and any once of love
is now gone
but don't blame the devil
look in the mirror
I grieve it seems
for a image
I tried so hard to believe......
