In the murder center,
called a clinic,
sitting on the floor,
watching a policeman
brutally beating
the father of three children,
my back against the door
to the murder room,
wondering if I would be next.
“What good did it do?”
my spineless fellow Christians ask.
They murdered
no helpless babies that day!
I got six months in jail
for my “crime”.
Oh! Lord Jesus,
Would that I had died there!
What a blessing to die for Thee!
To give back my worthless life
in gratitude for that life,
Infinitely precious,
given for me!
