There was the time there was a place
Way before the human race
Way there in the heavens
In the water called celestial sky
Way before you and I
Way there in the heavens,
On an outside of the everlasting paradise,
Way there in the heavens

Ohh we will all kiss the eternal sky
Way there in the heavens
God's throne is way there in the heavens
Oh maybe somehow we could reach that eternal paradise,

There was the time there was a place
When there was only one race
Way there in the heavens
Angels flew angels sang
Singing about the beautiful grace of God
Way there in the heavens,

As we are learning to fly
Just before we die
Learning to swim
Across an ocean
Into a new realm
A realm of eternal life
Eternal life for you and I,
