 God Cares
When trials come, where do you go?
Maybe a close friend that you know
Do you wonder if God really cares?
Why do you feel alone and scared?

Your Mom's mind is fading away
She may not know you someday
Reading to her may help her mind
She still needs your love and time

You think of memories as a child
Parties that turned out to be wild
You were at fault and to blame
Yet your Mom loved you the same

You reflect on children that die
You continue to ask God why
Some children are never born
Out of the womb they are torn

You watch as you turn on the T.V.
A man speaks and now you see
For the first time that God is there
You understand that He does care

He explains God loves you so much
Then suddenly your life is touched
You are drawn into His loving embrace
He saves you by the power of His grace

Now whatever trials may come your way
He will give you the strength day by day
You give Him your worries and fears too
He is faithful and will always be with you

1 Peter 5:7 (AMP)
Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your
worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He
cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.
