I'm Still A Child
I'm Still A Child
I'm still a child
With a baby's face.
I'm still a child
But with grown up ways.
I live my life as an adult
Though sometimes I get insults.
Some people tell me I look like I'm 12,
Others make sure I have an I.D.
I'm still a child
With a sensitive heart.
I'm still a child
But with lots of love to give.
I have feelings that are strong,
Some are moody and some are happy.
Each and every day I live my life
Knowing right from wrong.
I'm still a child
Who likes cartoons.
I'm still a child
With broken dreams.
I stand in pride and honor
For my country the U.S. of A.
Supportin' the troops and what they do,
Makes me happy, Keeps me safe.
I'm still a child
With big brown eyes.
I'm still a child
Cuz it's the way they treat me.
