Perfect Girl

Perfect Girl

You thought if you was perfect
you would have his attention
oh it doesn't work like that
walking away only feeling cheated
you're too pretty sweet angel
to ever be mistreated

you, yourself not good enough
in another eyes
it's not your fault
you're not worth their time after all
so don't let expectations
bury you.....
the riot is not worth
the burden to carry

I once was the shadow
who mirrored daddy perfectly
I thought if I was real good
he would turn out differently
but you can't change
what a person don't want
and you realize after a while
you have to make your own smile

you, yourself not good enough
in another eyes
it's not your fault
you're not worth their time after all
so don't let expectations
bury you.....
the riot is not worth
the burden to carry
