Rocking and rolling with easy sway
Water lapping the decks in colourful play
Fish swimming below, a thousand I counted
Birds fly overhead, echoed wings are resounded
An afternoon basking in summers sweet heat
Boats bobbing around like galleons in fleet
Balmy breeze carries the scent of flowering shrubs
Opulent fuchsias overflow painted tubs
Their names are a joy, ‘Figaro' painted on side
‘My Way' and ‘Jolene' flowing with pride
Clouds race overhead, the sun burnishes on high
I lay back and laze, couldn't be happier if I tried
