Iraq Woes
This is how the latest story goes:
If we pull out of Iraq, civil war will erupt.
It seems more true, on a closer view,
that Iraq is winding down it's civil war.
Hundreds of thousands are dead,
Millions of refugees have fled,
And what remains are segregated
neighborhoods.
No water, power, schools, or commerce.
Really, how could our exit make Iraq any worse?
How would America feel
if another country
cut us the same deal?
And if we stay?
