Only In My Dreams
Today this write is just for me
Who feels weakened and so angry
Of life that sucks out all ones glory
For quite some time seems like my story
I've let go what keeps me sane
And with that said I'll take the blame
So tired yet more so worn
Today we wish we were not born
I'm too perplexed to feel my sorrow
More so exhausted of what tommorow
Will bring and place upon my plate
Selfish that's me, one big mistake
Give and it is given you
Life is good, yea right for who
Battered to the point pointless
Feeling like my worth worthless
I thought, don't put this on your site
But who am I whose sleepless nights
Claims a soul that should know better
This poem more like a boring letter
Prayer seems like I shoot and miss
Target so big I could just kiss
The face of failure that rides upon
Heart broken, and pulse mine gone
