Decisions...
I can't see your face
in the clouds anymore,
I can't see the twinkle
in your eyes that I once
adored.
Your voice now is silent
it whispers someone else's
Name,
I didn't play by the rules
So now your somebody
Else's game.
Now all I have is the
Memories of our meetings,
Because I developed all
These extreme feelings.
My heart wouldn't listen
To my brain,
That's why I had to
Our meetings refrain.
I apologize for everything
I put you through,
While I was struggling with
These feelings of you.
Don't think bad of me for
The rules I have broken,
This poem is meant to be
A friendship token.
Know that you will always
Hold a special place in
My heart.
And from my memory
You will never part.
