 YOU    CAUGHT    ME

You caught me with that glance of yours
It penetrated deep within my being
And when you laid your head on my lap
I couldn't believe the feeling I was feeling.

Your sweetest nature was apparent
As you toyed against my knee
You reached out for me quite hungrily
The look of love in your eye I could see.

Realising I meant the world to you
And likewise I might state
You nudged yourself into my welcoming arms
The feeling was innate.

That day you admitted your love for me
I was on cloud nine, high in the sky
And then you went and reminded me
If you didn't get your cat food you would die!
