 A dream within a dream
some things are impossible to explain, but I shall try my best here.
For example I could be dreaming about me fighting dinosaurs, and then suddenly you'll appear
And it's like a dream, within a dream, a dream put on pause
as you sit down beside me, in the jungle of the dinosaurs
I tell you about my day, and all the news that is going on
.And you listen and smile, and still tell me what's right and wrong
We cuddle and I tell you I miss you and love you very much
And it all seems so real, when I can actually feel your touch
You don't seem to be sick anymore, in these dreams that you appear
and nor has your nagging, as you tell me off for drinking too much beer
I ask you questions, like what's it like where you are? and what do you do in your day?
And just when we are in full convosation, You tell me you love me, but you have to go away
And then the dream I was having, suddenly comes back to play
With me shouting, mum, mum, please don't go! I want you to stay!
and then I wake up, at peace and feeling really calm
knowing that you haven't left me, and are still keeping me from harm.

For my mum, who i miss every single day...
