Why mark my steps
O watchful Fate
The road to destiny
can not wait
But Life and Chance
push me aside
So Fate and Destiny
both had lied
Why should I wait for Old Care
when all the world eats Despair?
So I shook the problems
and saddled a ride
Convincing myself I was on God's side
Curse thee Choice!
The world can't wait
For Life and Death to debate
Curse thee Hill! Curse thee Night!
Curse my eyes that gives me sight!
I will push I will strive
I'll succeed where men died
Ooh the glorious end at last
WAIT! this looks like Balaam's path
