 ENOUGH FOR PLENTY OF WOMEN
We've dated over three years
As I've cried enough tears
They've flowed on and on
And to home you've gone

You're not going to move
Or be in my groove
And you think other women could stand it
Well find one---I demand it

That will keep taking you back
With all that you lack
Like a house of your own
Or some calls on your phone

Just to say, "How you feeling"
When you're sick and you're dealing
With pain that's a ten
Because I have sinned

Thinking your way is okay
Feeling like there will be someday
Now it's Fall and it's cold
I get lonely and feel old

And you stay safe right there
In your chair by her chair
And I'll go on without you
As I pout for what you put me through

Let's see all the women you'll date
For three years who'll not hate
That you won't wear a ring
Or when they're sick you won't bring

Them soup or fresh flowers
It's not in your powers
To love them and keep them
You want one at your whim

And when there's nothing in it for you
And when they're not fun and they bore you
You can go home and visit with Marie
You find one like that because it's not me.
