Living as People of Light
Do not be tricked by foolish talk,
Or the fancy way that they walk;
For they can easily persuade,
From any gesture that is made.
They are ones living in the dark,
Pursues evil where they embark;
Trying to lure ones in the light,
Persuading to do wrong not right.
God punishes who disobey,
Wandering off making them stray;
As well as saying foolish things,
Not thinking the aftermath it brings.
God has given you the insight.
To be a child of the light;
Be honest and truthful to shine,
As righteously from the Divine.
So wake up and rise from your sleep,
For the shepherd looks for His sheep;
And once you are back with the fold,
The light of Christ will shine so bold
