The round window was clear
and I felt drawn to lean down and peep inside,
then tormenting myself afterwards with
thoughts of personal betrayal.
Whatever possessed me
to eavesdrop in such a way?
And yet,
excitement held forth as
Jane's curvaceous legs
entwined,
at first innocently, with John's.
She had lay there slightly besmirched but
heartened by dreams
of action to come. And
sure enough,
her wish was bestowed
by a cleansing foray into the deep.
At the press of a button,
the machine set about and
John's arms grasped out urgently towards her,
igniting
involuntary movement from her shape.
They paused,
but proceeded again and
continued unashamedly
for a full twenty minutes.
With a sudden burst
they turned,
refreshed and scented and satisfied.
The bouquet of jasmine flowers wafted heavily through the air,
as the laundry was drenched in a new fragrance.
