A BED
A bed of rose petals
And you led the way,
You slipped your hand in mine and
Seized the day.
My heart
It has never before
Felt as it would explode,
The love and tenderness
You simply showed.
My love,
My darling,
My ever
Lasting
Light,
In an inky, sultry, humid black night.
You came to me my hero,
My lover to remain.
