Times of Refreshing
We all need balance in our life
To set aside all cares and strife
Getting away for a day or two
Will help change your attitude
Do something fun that you enjoy
Whatever brings you great joy
It can be simple and carefree
Like reading a book under a tree
Go with a group on a bus tour
See it as an adventure to explore
Having a trip planned for you
Gives you extra freedom too
Consider a mystery adventure
Bringing a smile and pleasure
Suspense will keep you guessing
Finding out is a special blessing
The fall is a beautiful time of year
As the night air is crisp and clear
Leaves of brilliant color and array
God's awesome creation in display
All of this is wonderful and fine
For it brings added peace of mind
But it represents only a small part
A greater matter involves our heart
That area is an often missed aspect
But it deserves our time and respect
