The face in the frame
The face in the frame
The lady in the photograph
there for all to see
what a joyful life she has
as she smiles so happily
None would know that
inside she holds in silent screams
so calm and so svelte is she
so placid and serene
She hasn't been through tragedy
not been through any pain
for surely it would show itself
in the photo within the frame
In truth she hides
her suffering and pain
she has been through such trauma
hurt again and again
how can this photograph
hide such a lie?
how false it is and
so much does it hide
the lady is a chameleon
she blends into the scenery
a mistress of disguise she is
I know,the photo is ME!
