Sixteen Years

Sixteen years today
You've let me into your heart,
God, brought our souls together
Never meant to be apart.

I miss you, when you're gone
All I do, is pace the floors,
Feel complete, once again
When you walk through the door.

I don't care about money
Or the presents, it may buy,
All I can say to you
Is I'm happy to be by your side.
