Jayce (Unfinished Love Story)
Jayce (Unfinished Love Story) Pop/Rock
I wanted to tell you
even though it's busted
I sob because I am so broken
over someone I once trusted
and through the haze
I slowly took my place
once beside you so easily
now residing so far away
So many things I want to tell you
but I stop abruptly
hurt choking my vocal chords
why isn't we want what we can't have
and end up just burying ourselves more?
Picking up the phone
I stop at the dial tone
so many visions flashing
a sobering jolt
I shake my head
at the remembrance of happy ever after
I just didn't read
the next twenty chapters
because.....
So many things I want to tell you
but I stop abruptly
hurt choking my vocal chords
why isn't we want what we can't have
and end up just burying ourselves more?
Because you was my bridge
because you was my lift
because you was my road
my un promised gift
and I hope one day
you will remember this.....
