GHOSTLY
A moonlit night
The canvas blank
Mask deathly white and pallid
A figure moves
Its shape untold
On wings of air is carried
With movement soft
And quietness eerie
A stillness casts around us
We walk along
Down lane and far
Each step we take in trust
Thin trailing voice
Floats high above
With coldness striking cruel
And biting wind
To eat the remains
Within the shroud-like ghoul
