Eggs light and fluffy
A scrambled concoction
Eggs poached and shiny
That sit upon toast.
Eggs gently frying
In a pan with three others
Eggs are a delicacy
Enjoyed by most.
Whisk them in a frenzy
Blend them in cake mixture
Fold a tasty soufflé
Boil three minutes max.
Sit it in quirky holder
And tap it with spoon
Natural way to stave off hunger attacks.
Why not cook up a storm
And make them sunny side up
Wrap in sausage meat
Then send to Scotland. (Scotch eggs…LOL)
An omelette made so delicate
With mushrooms and bacon
Drink egg nog with nutmeg to hand.
Create them devilled and call them Benedict
While what you might fancy
Is a cure to beat a thumping head.
To repair the worst hangover
And yes, it's proven fact,
Tomato juice and a raw egg
Though it must be kept intact.
