Crumble down to nothing
Bringing me to my knees
The man he uses his hands
The woman she uses her words
Hereditary nightmares
Ignoring all my pain
I still feel their presence
Yet both are far away
One hides behind her bible
The other adorned in stone
Bemused by what has happened
An unsettling discourse
From the one who is "born again"
She still tries to cleanse her soul
But I know the real monster
And yes they do exist
I can't leave it at that
