Dark Poetry From A Twisted Mind
Brass Snake
Brass Snake
I do not worship idols ~
though I possess a brass snake.
And its glaring
ruby eyes
daily
rip out
my exploding heart.
With hypnotic
intensity
the slithering golden reptile
draws
me to its stare...
its penetrating hiss ~
silent to those
who cannot grant
its wish.
