Halloween Night
In the dark night chains rattle,
bones dance and demons prance
to the macabre beat of the troll's drums.
Souls quake with mortal fear,
as the unknown becomes frightfully known.
A terrible chill sweeps the mortified town.
Hearts become frozen with apprehension.
Blood curdling screams rip apart the night.
Eerie howls rise from the misty hills.
A full witching moon shines malevolently down
upon the creepy,old cemetery.
Loud groaning disturbs the silence,
ripping sanity from the mind.
Witches chant and bats take flight.
For this is Halloween night.
