God is love and He does not hate
Each of us chooses our own fate
Some people say God causes evil
But that is a lie from the devil
My heart sank when I read one day
Charges filed in protest against gays
God is hate and the war they blame
As God punishing them, what a shame!
A church group makes this known
Picketing funerals of soldiers renown
Saying they are in Hell, dying in war
Is not even death sacred anymore?
Yes, they believe this is their right
But only God knows man's plight
The world is evil in which we live
God wants us to love and forgive
We can warn others about Hell
But in a spirit of love, as well
Being careful in what we say
They will see Jesus is the Way
