Brook

Brook

Brook first born
come blow your horn
name found in a book
your name Brook

meaning blessed man
you are to inherit the land
your deep piercing eyes
see beyond blue skies

the earth has shook
as a running brook
you forever flow
as the strong winds blow

where you will go
I do not know
as you rise
do not compromise

take a stand
become the man
inherit the land
it's in the plan

Brook my son
the race is not yet won
go bask in the sun
you have just begun
