Holding On

Don't want to let go,
Can't go on like this,
Saying "I love you",
Is a quick fix, with a kiss.
Underlying tensions,
things we dare not say,
Keep a wedge between us,
that won't go away.
We both share strong feelings,
That keep us holding on,
In spite of our differences,
Is that right or wrong?
We must resolve these issues,
this test, we've got to pass,
To do nothing is not an option,
We need answers fast.
