The New Jerusalem
Why be discouraged and sad,
When you should be really glad;
You look cold instead of warm,
Like tossed around in a storm.
But God will build a city,
That will look nice and pretty;
Gem stones in a foundation,
Reflecting affirmation.
For your children He will bless,
By giving them great success;
With a future to behold,
Through His plan that will unfold.
It will be built just and fair,
Those who are willing to share;
All of the peace and the love,
That God showers from above.
In the new city no fear,
And no need to shed a tear;
God protects with His strong arm,
Keeping you away from harm.
