My Regrets

Dad, I have a lot of regrets
That I think, you should know,
About not talking to you online
For almost a year, or so.

My oldest brother gave me your address
I was going to write, but, put it off,
I now, too, regret that, Dad
My heart, now, has turned so soft.

I can't turn back the hands of time
There's something else, you should know,
I will love you forever, Dad
And will truly miss you so.

I have had it rough, since I got the phone call, yesterday morning. I feel like I'm going nuts. The world around me, feels so different. I hope I will be able to get through this painful ordeal. :'o( I hope my Dad will forgive me, for not staying in touch with him.
