VISIONS
Visions float before me
Images from the distant past
When knight in shining armour
Would court his maiden at last
Locked inside a turreted castle
Far away out in midnight light
Where no-one could help this damsel
She was hidden well out of sight
Then one day a gallant young man
Saw her shape in the window above
He seized the opportunity
For he knew he had sighted love
He came one eve when all was still
The moon drizzled down a tawny glow
He scaled the wall to reach fair miss
On his life he did promise to bestow
