HAUNTED
A house that is now haunted
No-one crosses its path
Those pictures in memory
Of a grisly blood-bath
Many years ago
A cottage in deep countryside
Whilst police searched a maniac
Casting their net far and wide
A quaint dwelling off the beaten track
Ill-fated to have been spotted
By this crazed young man
A family house it had been allotted
On this fateful day
While their ignorance was bliss
A bang on the door
Made mockery of this
They had no choice
He entered come what may
Knives to the throats
Ready to slay
He disappeared into thin air
Hardened police squirmed at the scene
Only one survived
She strangled a scream
Her parents, husband
A daughter and a son
Were murdered by this miscreant
Her haunted nightmare had begun
