It's December for goodness sake!!

What has happened to the good old days
when December was very cold,
and sometimes you would freeze.
This next week down in Dixie,
it will be over eighty degrees.

Maybe it is Global Warming,
really I don't know,  but if it is --
Santa might need to change the way
he rides into Dixieland,
this very Christmas Eve!

Hoping that Santa will understand
and dress in lightweight clothes,
so he can finish up his work
for all the boys and girls.

All of this may seem somewhat silly,
but Santa, please know,
that no matter what the weather is,
all the children need you here,
each and every Christmas Eve!
