Twinkle In An Eye

A twinkle in an eye,
not a tear to dry,
a thought begins,
a wish ends.

A child to be born,
away emptiness is torn.
loneness no more,
been shown the door.

A moment to last,
moments moving fast,
time never slows,
this you and me knows.

Now, the world will see,
this is our family.
Now, life for us will always be crazy,
for now we have a baby.

Now, you are gone,
but it doesn't feel wrong.
For my baby is here,
with me a bright light to share.
