 Daddy

(Just a simple little write that I came up with.)

Daddy won't you hold me
In your big strong arms
Daddy please don't scold me
I didn't mean no harm

Daddy won't you hear me
When I call your name
Daddy will you cheer me
When I play my games

Daddy can you see me
Playing in the yard
Daddy will you lead me
Down the boulevard

Daddy do you love me
Just the way I am
Daddy when you hug me
I'm just a little lamb

Daddy please protect me
While I am still young
Daddy please respect me
Don't hurt me with your tongue

Daddy you're my hero
I want to be like you
Daddy life is narrow
I know you'll see me through
